THE 7 EMIRATES OF UAE
It has been 49 yrs since the union of the 7 emirates of United Arab Emirates (UAE) #Abudhabi #Dubai #Ajman #Fujairah #RasAlKhaimah #Sharjah #UmmAlQuwain. The UAE is governed by #SupremeCouncil of Rulers made up of the seven emirs, who appoint the #primeminister and the #cabinet.
THE LEGEND
Founding #FatherOfUAE HH #SheikhZayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (PBUH) served as President of the United Arab Emirates since the formation of the Federation of UAE on #2ndDecember 1971 and as Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi since 1966.
#PRESIDENT OF UAE
Following the legacy, HH Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (Sheikh Khalifa) is the current President of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of #AbuDhabi.

HH Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the ruler of #Dubai.

To mark the 49th UAE National Day, a live show titled 'Seeds of the Union' is staged in Abu Dhabi, uniting residents in celebration from the safety of their homes. Shown as a moving sculpture surrounded by sea and illuminated by digital visuals portraying themes inspired by the UAE’s history and values, while paying a tribute to the UAE’s Founding Fathers, whose long-term vision of harmony and solidarity led to the formal unification of the UAE
#NATIONALFLAG OF UAE
The flag of the United Arab Emirates contains the Pan-Arab colors: red, green, white and black, to show Arab unity. The Flag was designed by a Young Emirati boy named as Abdullah Mohammed Al Maaenah in 1971 whose designs were inspired by the poem on Arab Unity by Saifiul Deen Al Goll.
The colour #RED represents bravery, strength and courage. #GREEN represents hope, joy, optimism, love and prosperity. #WHITE represents peace and honesty. #BLACK signifies mental strength and solidarity.
#NATIONALEMBLEM OF UAE
The national emblem of UAE or the UAE Coat of Arms is represented by a falcon with a UAE flag at the heart of it. This was re-designed in 2008, based on the original emblem which designed around a sail dhow boat.
#CURRENCY OF UAE
The Emirati #dirham is the official currency of the UAE. It is represented by the abbreviations such as AED, Dh or Dhs. Each dirham consists of100 #fils, with 25 fils and 50 fils coins in circulation. On the reverse side, the 25 fils has #Gazelles, the 50 fils has #oilDerriks and 1 dirham coin has the traditional coffee pot #Dallah
